2024 was the year we proved it.

The Women’s Well Repair Initiative is no longer an experiment but a movement.

Women who once carried empty jerry cans are now carrying tools.

They walk into villages not as water-bearers, but as business owners, mechanics, and leaders.

They don’t ask for help. They bring solutions.

Thirty-five women-led businesses are now operating across South Sudan. Together, they restored water to 61,540 families this year alone. Wells that sat broken for years are flowing again. Mothers and daughters who once walked hours in the blazing heat no longer make that trek.

This isn’t theory. It works.

Wells repaired in days, not years. Communities taking ownership. Women leading the way.

And this is just the beginning.

Vision 2030 is in motion — 256 repair businesses across all ten states, linked in powerful cooperatives that will keep clean water flowing for generations—no outside nonprofit required.
