SCHOOL CHALLENGE

Your classroom can change the world.

Help bring clean water to South Sudan through a book, a walk for water, or a creative project that fits your school. Launch an experience your students will never forget.

In South Sudan, access to clean water costs girls their education.

With clean water out of reach, girls walk up to 12 miles a day just to bring water home. These walks are dangerous, often leading to contaminated water. And girls, caught between caregiving and the classroom, drop out. Their education ends before it begins.

Only 45% of schools in South Sudan have access to clean water. Only 17% have adequate sanitation.

That's where your class comes in.

The I Dream of Water School Challenge gives your students a way to do something about it.

By reading the story, raising awareness and funds, you become the changemakers who support women-led repair teams fixing broken wells across South Sudan — so girls can trade the walk for water for a walk to school.
