The Fourth Annual Water Is Basic 5k was held on Saturday morning at Reverchon park. There was a great turnout at this outstanding location as over 575 runners took part in raising over $25,000 for Water is Basic.

This was also the first year that the Jerry Can Relay was formally introduced. We understand that there has never been anything like a Jerry Can Relay as part of a 5K race and 22 folks competed in teams of three or five . . . and there was one solo runner who carried the 45+ pound Jerry Can full of water the entire distance. AMAZING!!!

Thanks to all of the sponsors, volunteers and runners and walkers who took part in helping to bring clean water to Sudan.
