The rigs have started the long journey to Wau, the capital of the West Bahr al Ghazal state. This small town of about 135,000 people is at the center of several tribes and has suffered significantly. It has two seasons, wet and dry, and we have a short window of time during which transport and drilling are possible.

Also, an opportunity is beginning to form to establish a crew with a rig in Darfur. More to come later. This is Africa!

Thank you for your regular support and don’t forget the Basic 5 and 10K event in Dallas on October 10th. We need runners, walkers & volunteers, so sign up here.

Onward to 500 wells!
