Tell Others About the Need

Share with your friends and acquaintances the desperate need of the Sudanese and how even just a little can do so much. Let them know about this website in your conversations and e-mails.

You can also organize efforts in your school or organization to raise funds for wells. Be creative. For instance, you could hand out water bottles and ask people to drink the water and then return the bottle filled with change. People have hosted fundraising dinners, made/sold t-shirts, sent their mums to Sudan, had lemonade stands, written grants... anything and everything can be done to raise funds for this project. It surprising how quickly those small amounts add up. Remember that for each rig that operates in Sudan, $3,000 will drill a well that will permanently supply water for 1,000-2,000 people.
